first day opening my own counter.
SUPER SCARED AT FIRST!
didn't even open my own counter at all when i was posted to Boon Lay shopping complex for two days before getting posted to JP, which was my original branch.
and the first time im opening my counter, it's at the opening of the shop.
SUPER BUSY!
first few customers were nice ah. didn't mind my slowness.
then got used to it, then it's better. :)
BUT THE FRUITS ARE SUPER IRRITATING I TELL YOU.
and those Buy 1 get 1 free or Buy 2 get one free those kind of stuffs.
TOO MANY TO REMEMBER!
seriously, even the team leader/manager or something even told us cashiers in the cashier room that there's too much stuff to remember. too many promotions. and some free items don't need to be scanned while some needs to be scanned. CONFUSING! and it's not really our fault if we made a mistake. we get complained/scolded, they have to get the same treatment too.
so they're trying to do something about it tomorrow.
YAY! :)

okay. first day at work.
i got poked by crabs, poked by live prawns, poked by pineapples, scalded by chicken.
oil coming out from the chicken staining my hands.
and the prawns were still moving inside the plastic bag when i scanned them. o_O
and! the first two familiar faces i saw was Shiyun and Kelly!
i didn't know they were in the queue until i served them.
they told me that they waved at me but i didn't see them.
told you it's really busy. ._.
and the next group of familiar faces was Glen, Zijie bro and Jojo.
okay. this was even more funny.
they told me that they were standing behind me all the while, but i was too busy until i didn't even notice.
and i only realised when Jojo and Glen joined the queue to buy 3 pieces of Ferroro Rocher.

really sorry ahhhh! they waited for me to knock off from work, but the other cashier came really late, and i still have to count money, declare, confirm, count profit and stuff.
got held up for quite long. alot of people inside that wanted to declare too. have to wait. ._.
annndd...nevermind. dont wanna say here. =x

and Kaywee too. :(
i heard Glen complaining to his friends near my counter. lol. =x
have to thank my two newly-made friends/colleagues, Wei Ling and Kang Meng!
they helped me packed some stuffs into plastic bags when it was really really really busy.
have to really thank them alot. :)

and the weird thing is, i stood for more than 4 hours during work, but i don't feel tired.
but i felt tired after standing for 1 hour in the cashier room declaring my money and stuffs.
weird. o_O

this is the first time in my whole life i said the most 'Sorry'-s and 'Thank you'-s in a day. =X

okay. that was my 'first' day at work, since it's my first time opening my own counter. =x
and i screwed up loads of times today. ._.
but at the end of the day, the report came out.
SHORT OF $0.10 ONLY!
cause i forgot to return 10 cent change to a customer, and i told her sorry and wait for awhile while i complete the next transaction, but she just said nevermind and went off.
